Welcome to SKNK
SKNK is an on-chain gaming protocol built on Base that replaces the traditional house model with transparent smart contracts and shared liquidity. Players, liquidity providers, and game builders all plug into the same on-chain system, where gameplay, pricing, and settlement happen in the open.
Why SKNK?
Unlike traditional platforms where a central operator controls the bankroll, odds, and settlement flow, SKNK moves those mechanics on-chain. The protocol is built around three core principles:
- Fair: Games run on smart contracts, making outcomes provably fair and impossible to manipulate.
- Transparent: All transactions, odds, and results are visible on-chain, eliminating "black box" mechanics.
- Shared Liquidity: Players open tickets against pools funded by liquidity providers rather than a centralized house account.
How SKNK Works
At a high level, SKNK connects three parts of the system:
- Players fund an account or connect a wallet, then open tickets through games or direct protocol flows.
- Liquidity providers supply pool liquidity, which is used for swaps, game exposure, and payouts.
- Games and integrators build on top of the protocol and use the same settlement and balance infrastructure.
This means gameplay, liquidity, and settlement all happen within one shared on-chain system rather than being split across separate off-chain services.
Next Steps
Choose the path that matches what you want to do:
- I want to play - Learn how balances, the app, and player flows work.
- I want to provide liquidity - Understand LP returns, risks, and pool mechanics.
- I want to understand the protocol - Start with the core contract architecture.
- I want quick answers - Review common questions about wallets, fairness, tokens, and gameplay.
